An exciting milestone for #MNSTrans on the VTA’s Montague Expressway Pedestrian Overcrossing as the 229’ steel pedestrian bridge was lifted over the Montague Expressway. Over 25 semi-trucks equipment for the lift, 25 craftspeople working all night, and 2 massive cranes lifting the bridge in 2 segments were the culmination of extensive planning and coordination. The colorful fins on the steel bridge provide a unique gateway to City of Milpitas. The next stage is finishing the entrance to the bridge.
