MNS Engineers, Inc. (MNS) is pleased to announce the acquisition of S&C Engineers, Inc. (S&C). S&C, headquartered in Oakland, California, has provided professional program management and construction management services throughout the Bay Area for over 18 years. S&C specializes in managing transportation construction projects including rail, transit, intermodal, ITS/Smart Corridors, highway, bridge, and seismic retrofit. Since the company’s inception in 2000, S&C has completed over 100 construction projects totaling over $1.5B in infrastructure improvements in the state of California.

MNS is a privately held California based infrastructure consulting firm headquartered in Santa Barbara. The addition of S&C will expand MNS’ geographic footprint in the Bay Area and provide additional service offerings.

MNS has provided services to the transportation, water resources, government services, and federal markets since 1962. The firm is well known for their construction management expertise having successfully delivered over $2.5B in programmable money over the last ten years, including FHWA, ARRA, HBP, STIP, FEMA, and bond funded projects. MNS has received state and national recognition for their extraordinary achievements, most recently with the US 101 HOV and Bike Path project receiving the coveted Caltrans Excellence in Transportation award and the Elkhorn Road Emergency Repair project, which will receive national recognition at the 2018 American Public Works Association Exposition in Kansas City later this year.
