MNS Wins ASCE 2025 MLAB Award

MNS Transportation and the City of El Segundo won the ASCE MLAB 2025 Bikeways & Trails Award for the El Segundo Boulevard Improvement Project. This $8M regional investment revitalized 1.5 miles of roadway and added 2.5 miles of bike infrastructure, enhancing safety, mobility, and multimodal access.

MNS Wins 2025 APWA Central Coast Award

Laguna County Sanitation and MNS Water earned the 2025 APWA Central Coast Project of the Year Award for their Phase 1 upgrade of a 60-year-old wastewater plant in Santa Maria Valley, featuring new facilities and advanced disinfection for cleaner, sustainable water.

MNS Wins 2024 APWA SoCal High Desert Award

The Avenue R Complete Streets & Safe Routes Project in Palmdale won the 2024 APWA Southern California High Desert Branch Best Improvement for Public Safety Award. This initiative enhances safety by upgrading road infrastructure, adding crosswalks, and creating dedicated bike lanes to foster a safer, more connected community.

MNS Wins 2025 APWA NorCal Award

The City of Dublin, MNS Transportation, and Mark Thomas earned the 2025 APWA Northern California Public Works Project of the Year Award for the innovative Iron Horse Trail Bridge. The 230-foot free-span bridge improves safety and traffic flow over busy Dublin Boulevard.

MNS Wins ACEC CA & APWA NorCal Awards

The MNS Transportation team, HDR, and the San Francisco County Transportation Authority earned four awards for their $36 million reconstruction of the Yerba Buena Island I-80 interchange. The project features unique roadway and bicycle/pedestrian designs tailored to the island’s steep terrain and connects directly to the Bay Bridge.

MNS Wins 2025 APWA Monterey Bay Award

MNS Water celebrated their partnership with the City of Gonzales for the award-winning MWWTP Emergency Disposal Basin project, enhancing wastewater capacity and environmental protection through collaboration with local partners. The project supports treated wastewater transport to Soledad’s WWTP and ensures community business continuity.

MNS Wins 2025 APWA Monterey Bay Award

The 12th Street Improvement Project, honored with the APWA Monterrey Bay 2025 Project of the Year Award, significantly improved pedestrian and cyclist safety near Greenfield schools by adding sidewalks, bike lanes, and enhanced crosswalks. This vital upgrade creates a safer, more accessible route for students and community members alike.

MNS and the City of Calabasas Win 2024 APWA Transportation Award

The MNS Transportation and Survey teams, alongside the City of Calabasas, received the APWA Ventura County 2024 Project of the Year Award for enhancing Mulholland Highway and Old Topanga Canyon Road with widened shoulders, new sidewalks, and pavement rehabilitation to improve safety and accessibility.
