MNS Welcomes Principal Transportation Manager to Southern California Market

MNS Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Joy Sharma, PE, Principal Transportation Manager. Joy is an accomplished civil engineering professional with 20 years of experience in design and project and construction management. Joy is well respected for her project delivery leadership, overseeing project teams for highways and transit projects, building strong working relationships with federal, state, and other government agencies. She has exceptional stakeholder/client management and team building acumen.

Joy began her career working for general engineering contractors before accepting a position with Caltrans District 4 where she spent several years directing design and construction management of road and bridge infrastructure projects, as well as supervising, mentoring, and leading her own team. Joy’s extensive experience in the transportation market includes transit projects such as large grade separations, track/station construction, highway projects, local streets, and other infrastructure improvements. Some of her most recent and notable projects include the Broadway Burlingame Grade Separation, 25th Avenue Grade Separation, Marin and Napoleon Bridge Replacement, the Marin/Sonoma Narrows on US 101, and US 101/Presidio Parkway in San Francisco.

Headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, MNS is a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm offering construction management, civil engineering, and surveying services throughout California. The transaction closed in August and represents a substantial investment by both firms to accelerate MNS’ growth within California and other geographies nationally.

MNS Awarded City of Morro Bay Water Reclamation Facility PM Services Contract with MK Nunley

MNS’ Water Resources and Construction Management groups are excited to be on the team recently selected for Program Management for the City of Morro Bay. MNS is serving as subconsultant to Michael K Nunley & Associates, who will lead Program Management for the City’s Public Works Department to develop a new Water Reclamation Facility. MNS will support the development of the Recycled Water Program and will provide Construction Management services.
