MNS Expands Southern California Market with Vice President of Regional Operations – Southern California

MNS Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Talin Espinoza as Vice President of Regional Operations – Southern California. Talin is a well-respected member of the A/E/C industry bringing over 15 years of experience developing and implementing corporate growth and organizational development strategies. As Vice President of Regional Operations, she will be responsible for advancing MNS’ strategic growth initiatives, increasing market visibility, and enhancing client services in Southern California.

Talin has held numerous leadership positions having recently completed her term as President of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), Southern California Chapter and is currently a member of the Executive Committee. She serves on the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of California, Los Angeles District Board of Directors and is a member of AGC’s Diversity & Inclusion Task Force. She is also a contributing writer for the Zweig Letter, a management newsletter providing unique insight and inspiration to A/E/C firm leaders.

MNS Welcomes Tyler Hunt

Two MNS Projects Win 2018 National APWA Project Of The Year Awards!

The Elkhorn Road Emergency Storm Damage Repair Project in Monterey County wins a National American Public Works Association (APWA) Project of the Year Award for Disaster/Emergency Construction/Repair projects less than $5 Million. Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 5, wins a National American Public Works Association (APWA) Project of the Year Award for Disaster/Emergency Construction/Repair projects over $5 Million but less than $25 Million.

Elkhorn Road Emergency Storm Damage Repair: Winter storms battered the Central Coast of California in January and February of 2017. In February, cyclone force winds ripped through the Monterey-Salinas area, shredding trees, blocking lanes of Highway 101, and wreaking havoc throughout the County. This new winter storm added a new vocabulary word to area residents: bombogenesis. This rare occurrence of a bombogenesis is a mid-latitude cyclone that drops in surface barometric pressure by 24 or more millibars in a 24-hour period, which means intense downpours along with extremely strong winds battering the area.
